SMITH

Avery Smith is a current junior pursuing a B.F.A. in Acting as well as a B.A. in Communication Design at Elon University. After spending the first semester of this year abroad in London studying Shakespeare and High Comedy while getting to know and love the city, she is excited to return to Elon to continue her education.

Avery has been involved in all aspects of theatre since she was 8, from performing onstage, directing, stage managing, and creating promotional campaigns for theatre companies. She is a strong believer that an actor should invest in all sides of theatre and because of that chose to pursue a secondary major to work in promotions for theatre as well.

Outside of theatre, Avery has a passion for art, design and travel. She loves reading, exploring different coffee shops in her area, shopping, and spending any free moments with her friends and family, as well as her cats, Stevie and Otis.
